The Grove Hotel Boise, a premier full-service hotel in downtown Boise, Idaho, aimed to pivot from their standard annual sale email campaign, to a more exclusive Black Friday offer. They utilized Amadeus' Guest Management Solutions (GMS) and iHotelier® Booking Engine to create a Black Friday email campaign targeting their most engaged audience. The campaign offered a 25% discount on bookings, a $20 gift card for the in-house restaurant and bar, and free parking. This offer, with no blackout dates, was designed to boost hotel bookings and drive traffic to the restaurant. To build anticipation, they started with a "Coming Soon" teaser email featuring an animated gif with confetti. A week later, they launched the formal Black Friday email campaign and a 24-hour Instagram story, both eye-catching campaigns directing traffic to the iHotelier® Booking Engine. The campaign ran from November 29th, 2024, through December 2nd, 2024, and was a standout success, generating over $30,000 in revenue and securing 88 reservations. The campaign not only boosted bookings but also created a buzz of excitement and exclusivity, enticing guests to indulge in the hotel's luxurious amenities.
