Ben Osterhaus is the owner of Brand Army, a branding, advertising and design studio based outside of Washington, D.C. Prior to starting Brand Army in 2012, Ben spent 12 years in the branding and advertising field working with clients on projects ranging from international advertising campaigns to national brand development to regional design efforts with specific target audiences.
Ben's primary focus is to create engaging branding and advertising experiences based on the unique characteristics and stories of the organizations he works with—ultimately increasing awareness, engagement and position among their specific audiences. These engaging experiences are developed and deployed through various avenues: digital, print, environment—all of which Ben has proven experience in executing.
Ben has been the recipient of 15 international design awards which includes his work for Chick-fil-A, George Mason University, the United Nations Foundation, the USO, Geroge Mason University and HEKA Energy Drink. He has been featured twice in Graphic Design USA magazine for his honors and promotions and has been invited to judge the Web Marketing Association's International WebAwards 2 years in a row.
