Laurie is Senior Vice President of Content and Editor-in-Chief of Lifescript.com, the leading online resource for women’s health. Since joining the company in 2006, she has directed the launch and expansion of Lifescript’s editorial content on Lifescript.com, LifescriptTV on YouTube, HealthBistro blog and six daily email newsletters. Laurie is responsible for creating the brand’s voice and vision as well as overseeing content, design, programming, syndication and content marketing strategies. She also oversees editorial strategy for the largest women’s health social network on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter, with more than 2 million fans.
For more than 17 years, Laurie has provided management and strategic direction to online and print media. She was previously Editor-in-Chief of Consumer Reports Travel Letter and Managing Editor of Entertainment Tonight Online (www.etonline.com). Laurie also launched and was Editor-in-Chief of Better Homes& Gardens’ online travel guide. Her byline has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, CondeNast's Concierge.com, USA Today, Boston Herald, Reader's Digest and Ladies Home Journal.com.
Laurie holds a master’s degree in journalism and film from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York - Stony Brook.
