What drives him is a passion for solving complex problems and creating best in class products that delight users of all types with unified, intuitive experiences. At the core of his professional style is a statistician who loves to understand what the data says, though willing to make innovative moves when the situation calls for it. Most recently, he has applied his skills at Overstock.com where he has helped the mobile apps team become over 400% more profitable in the past year. Before that, he worked in CPG, media, defense and energy. At Overstock, he gained great appreciation for the world of retail, specifically how it blends his inclination towards data and passion for customer experience.
This past spring, Rob was nominated and selected as a member of the Forbes Technology Council, based on his contributions at Overstock. Specifically, his apps have won awards from multiple design and retail competitions. When he is not at work, Rob enjoys running competitively and has started a nonprofit to help benefit orphans in the Congo
