Kimberly-Clark’s Gemba App is an iPad application used to help Kimberly-Clark mobilize its sales force and streamline its sales process. With the app, sales representatives are able to access up-to-date product information, perform interactive and engaging hazard assessments and provide immediate solutions to customers’ needs. Additionally, the application will quickly generate branded sales proposals and presentations, all while tracking the entire process in Salesforce.
By providing step-by-step guided workflows sales reps are empowered with an all-in-one solution that works offline and syncs with office systems once online again. Sales reps perform an on-site “walk through” by completing an interactive hazard assessment. After selecting a hazardous exposure, sales rep and customer can see a 3D body representation of potential impact zones.
Within the app’s first year of deployment, a division of Kimberly-Clark Professional saw a 600% increase in total revenue generated, a 450% increase in opportunity value within North America and a 50% efficiency gain, which cut closure time in half for sales representatives.
Gemba revolutionized Kimberly-Clark’s sales force by integrating all of its established, enterprise business processes into a fully customized app for use in the field. The Kimberly-Clark sales team is now better equipped to close faster, sell more, all at the touch of a button.
