It was in this context that WGN America brought in RED to lead the strategy behind the network’s next phase of growth online. The challenge was clear: redesign WGNAmerica.com as a second screen companion destination for the network’s high-quality, distinctive programming.
RED built the experience to have the same level of quality and professionalism as the content that lives on air, and designed it mobile-first for premium functionality across platforms and devices. The new WGNamerica.com is a visually bold yet clean and easy to navigate destination for baseline network information and compelling content that enhances core fan viewership. Series specific mini-sites represent WGN’s programming mission with highly aesthetic image galleries and videos that transport users to incredible new worlds and establish deep emotional connections to the network and its content.
