Forbes’ Under 30 mobile app was created as a mobile-first social network aimed at mobilizing the most successful millennials to change the world – beginning with the members of the Forbes Under 30 community. The app will also serve as a platform for members to reach the broader Forbes.com audience of over 42 million unique visitors per month and over 15 million social media followers. Members will be invited to participate in video and blog post campaigns where editors will select content to be published on the dedicated Under 30 channel on Forbes.com.
The app will feature member profiles, a follower system, an activity feed, event listings and a speed business networking feature that is powered by Tinder. This is the first time that Tinder has partnered with another brand to extend its technology.
Marketing partners will gain access to the app as part of broader Under 30 integrations. Partners will receive corporate member profiles, which provides the ability to interact with this sought after demographic in an authentic and intimate way. Some of the marketing partners for the app include: A&T, Macallan, Baume & Mercier, and The City of Philadelphia.
The app, which was developed in-house by Forbes with support from Tinder, will officially launch during the second annual Forbes Under 30 Summit in Philadelphia, October 4-7, 2015.
