TopSpot's objective for RTS Cutting Tools, Inc. is to create a fully responsive website to increase leads, sales and search visibility for their B2B audience.
RTS Cutting Tools, Inc. website’s audience is primarily B2B. Even though their origins primarily began in the automotive industry, they have branched out into many other industries. A target persona is the design engineer who would require specifications and measurements on products, all of which are searchable in the catalog. We also added an attach-a-file function on the question form to assist the purchasing professional persona who would rather communicate with a representative with their specific needs.
The RTS Cutting Tools site is a fully responsive website, in which all their content is available and responds to a smartphone or tablet screen. Beyond being viewable by their mobile audience, a challenge was integrating parametric search within the website catalog. It also includes functionality such as the Speed & Feed Calculator and a tabbed multimedia gallery.
In its first nine months, conversions have increased 470% from 30 to 171. The website conversion rate has increased 67.25% from 1.41% to 2.35%.
