About the Entry

The Sculpture Milwaukee website was thoughtfully designed to blend the urban downtown Milwaukee atmosphere with the sophisticated style of museum-quality sculptures. The goals of the project included crafting a modern look and feel to appeal to art connoisseurs as well as city tourists and the general public; leveraging Progressive Web App (PWA) technology to provide mobile users with a native app-esque experience; creating a guided tour component that detects which sculpture the user is closest to and provides detailed information about each of the different sculptures in the exhibit, as well as nearby amenities; and showcasing events and offers to keep visitors engaged with the exhibit throughout the entire summer.
