The ABILIFY MAINTENA® (aripiprazole) mobile website was developed for caregivers and their loved ones living with schizophrenia who are being treated with a daily oral antipsychotic or a long-acting injectable (LAI) and still experiencing symptoms. Schizophrenia is a unique condition to deal with for both people living with the disease and their caregivers. Content and tools that can be customized or allow for personalization is important to this audience because no two experiences with schizophrenia are the same.
When caregivers are educated about treatment options for their loved ones as well as the benefits and risks of treatment, they may be more open to discuss these options with the doctor.
Because of the recent increase in mobile traffic, this solidified the business need to optimize the site for mobile and tablet use.
The ABILIFY MAINTENA mobile website provides families with education and tools to facilitate a discussion with the healthcare team about the benefits of a long-acting injectable (LAI).
The objectives of the ABILIFY MAINTENA mobile website are to:
• Help prepare the caregiver and their loved ones for initial discussions with the healthcare team about ABILIFY MAINTENA so they can become active in treatment discussions
• Educate consumers as they adjust to receiving once-monthly treatment with ABILIFY MAINTENA
• Provide useful and relevant information to help caregivers and their loved ones living with schizophrenia
