About the Entry




The Tourneau.com mobile experience targets the luxury customer, the collector, and the aspirational customer alike. The ability to place timepieces in a virtual “tray” and make an appointment to see those same timepieces in a store appeals to the busy executive on the go and to the early adopter, who are each fully exploiting the advantages of the mobile channel. With design from MICROS-Retail's design team, Fry (www.fry.com), generously-sized browse images and an image-centric product detail page respect the beauty of the products and free them from crowded text and other digital noise. While the full Tourneau.com seeks to claim the position as the authority on luxury timepieces, the mobile site is its portable counterpart, leaving aside the larger brand imagery and lifestyle content for a more focused shopping experience.
