Since it was founded in 1927, the Berchtesgadener Land dairy has worked to protect animals, nature and consumers. Sustainability and fairness are thus at the core of this cooperative society’s values.
The website relaunch focused on communicating these fundamental values and is characterized by a strong visual and emotive design concept which builds on the bounty of insights into the countryside and trade that make the dairy cooperative so special. However, this is never overdone: the overall aesthetic is modern and minimalist, and the focus is on the atmosphere that is to be created for the user. Detailed illustrations drawn with loving care and short animation clips add to this sense of authenticity and give the website a playful edge in selected areas.
3 weeks after the Relaunch the user retention period doubled; page views increased by 50%
