Each minute of downtime translates to lost dollars and the shortage of skilled industrial technicians has fueled the need for alternative options to source field service providers.
By building the largest national network of industrial service providers, The UP! App helps solves the issue. Manufacturer’s can seamlessly put in a request for service directly from their phone or computer, indicating the status of the machine and a detailed description of the issue. The request is sent to service providers qualified for repairs on that particular machine.
UP! Video Chat helps refine the estimating process through the enhancement of a virtual visit. Requestors can take their phone or tablet and show a service provider the problem in real-time as they review service options. With its ability to seamlessly switch from a horizontal to a vertical view, a requester can get into the machine and move around to get the view the service provider needs to begin to diagnose the issue. Through UP! Video Chat, the diagnosis and repair can often begin virtually and the service provider can develop a more accurate estimate in terms of both cost and time to repair.
The feature is available on desktop, tablet and through downloading the app on a mobile device. It is compatible across platforms including Android, Apple and on desktops via the website.
