About the Entry

Marathon Petroleum wanted to update its pipeline finder app with a more updated and interactive interface. The goal was to create an easy to use app that would inform landowners about pipelines on their land as well as connect them to resources like the “Right-of-way” call center and who to contact in the event of an emergency. The app also had to allow people to pin their GPS coordinates through their app to make it easier for emergency services to get in contact. Above all else Marathon wanted the app to remain transparent about what was in its pipelines and to keep the public safe.
