Tres Perles is an established multi-generational agricultural family in Napa Valley. Using their heritage as a foundation, we created a simple yet elegant and restrained website that had four objectives:
1. Highlight their wines at the level of reverence necessary for their price point but not being elitist.
2. Emphasize the only path to obtain those wines (and event invitations) is through their wine club.
3. Communicate their family story.
4. Highlight their charitable efforts.
The use of black and white photography gives gravity to the significant cultural contribution of the family to Napa Valley. Yet, the small highlights of color when the curser scrolls up illustrate the family’s warmth and humor.
The site also provides expanded text stories about the family, employees, and their charitable involvements. Notice these expand and contract per the visitor’s choice, and there is no need to jump to another page.
Each wine is presented with a “join to reserve” button when, if selected, it whisks you off to a colorful image of their approachable family with an invitation to join the familia. If you choose the login from the top right, you are greeted with almost an entirely additional hidden site for members only with their events and membership information. The submission for the club and checkout for the wines are all modern and best practice eCommerce features allowing guest checkout and secure payment.
