About the Entry

America’s Heartland is a magazine-style, half-hour series produced by PBS KVIE, Sacramento. Since its premiere on PBS stations and RFD-TV in 2005, America’s Heartland has shared more than 1,000 stories about the hardworking men and women who bring food, fuel, feed, and fiber to the nation and the world. The idea was a simple one – give consumers an inside look at how American farmers and ranchers create an incredible bounty of products.
