The Fresh Market is a specialty grocery retailer with over 100 stores in more than 20 states and is continuing to expand rapidly. They take pride in providing the freshest and best local ingredients to their customers. As such, the audience for this web design and development project is individuals who shop at The Fresh Market brick and mortar stores, typically health-conscious females shopping for their families, who are looking for recipes, product information, and a forum for local community information.
The goal of The Fresh Market website design and development campaign was to bring the in-store shopping experience to the online realm, while creating an optimal user experience using a fully responsive design. The site, designed with ‘Vintage Modernism’ as the overarching creative concept, features bright inviting imagery, a flexible welcome page and site background that can be updated seasonally, a dynamic homepage with a 4-slider rotator, a community section where local information can be shared, and a re-vamped e-commerce platform to allow for online orders.
