Bigazines was tasked to build Butterfly Hotels and Serviced Apartments’(Butterfly) first ever mobile website for after its recent website revamp.
Also in charge of Butterfly’s online branding, we preserve its current aesthetic direction and thus the sleek, simple yet chic interface. We want the mobile site to be an informational platform for users to get to know more about Butterfly and therefore, scrolling and loading time between pages must be minimized to engage users.
Previous finding shows that users mostly visit Butterfly on its website through their mobile device and then back to its website to make room reservations. And thus, this made one of our priorities to make the mobile site a one stop solution for users throughout their buying process. A third party room booking system was integrated into the mobile site to allow users to enquire and even made a room reservation in real time. Links to Butterfly’s social media effort can also be access directly throughout the site. Integcle, a content management system developed by us was also incorporated so Butterfly can update its contents anytime at their ease.
All in all, we are ecstatically pleased that we accomplish the goal of creating a mobile website which allow users to do as much as Butterfly’s desktop site. Maybe even better; as users can now connect to Butterfly regardless of time and location with a few swaps and taps with their fingers.
