The main Affinity Plus website was redesigned and launched in early 2012 to provide a better user experience for existing members and be more inviting to prospective members. The site launched with full analytics monitoring and ongoing website optimization. While the organization was working with its credit union financial partners to develop online banking mobile apps, Risdall recommended developing a mobile version of the full website for specific pages that were being accessed most often by mobile devices. Based on the first year of analytics, mobile devices were being used to access the site at an aggressively growing rate. The resulting mobile version of the website serves up targeted pages, primarily branch locations, ATM locations, current interest rates, news & events, and contact info, in a mobile friendly format. It is tied directly to the main website for centralized content management and optimization. Affinity Plus is a growing credit union, so this organizational structure makes it very easy to update with new branch locations and new ATM locations simultaneously on the main website and the mobile version. It also provides a convenient place for members to download their online banking mobile apps.
