A new service aimed specifically at EADS investors has been created as a cross-device multi-touchpoint approach: a native app for the iPad and a web solution for desktop and mobile. The “EADS Investors” app, which is available on the iTunes store, provides useful investor infor-mation, such as current share prices, quarterly results and investor events. Users can customize the dashboard to tailor the available information and functionalities to their interests and needs. Therefore all the content they need is available as soon as they open the app. This is made possible by a mobile-optimized API created in Magnolia that guarantees the highest levels of usability and the best-possible content provision for the app.
Users are able to personalize the app by editing the dashboard: The app provides widgets in 2 different sizes (big & small), whose content can be chosen by the users according to their inter-ests and needs.
A new information structure was established, in order to provide the target group with relevant information at a glance. The app is available both online and offline and offers a reader-mode for available PDFs. Since the target group is mainly investors, which are on-the-go very often, it is indispensable, that the content can be reached e.g. during a flight; but also, the content has to be up-to-date, so a refresh button provides a 1-klick update in the online mode. Investor Re-lations is the first app based on widgets. It simplifies the company’s financial communications enriched with features which provide added value.
