Hotwire.com unveiled its first-ever mobile app last October, a cutting-edge, interactive solution for travelers looking to book a last-minute hotel room on-the-go. Just last month, the app experienced a growth rate of 50 percent in daily downloads from January and 64 percent in transactions from December. In four taps, travelers can access discounts on hotels in over 3,415 cities and 61 countries around the globe and book an affordable room in as little as 30 seconds virtually anywhere, any time. The free app features a one-of-a-kind interactive map that shows available hotels in the surrounding area and displays information about hotels' pricing, star ratings, amenities and noted customer feedback, along with the associated deal. For an even faster reservation, users can create their own account where they can securely access all of their booking and payment information.
