About the Entry

Developed in partnership by I-SITE and GRASP apeApp is the first app to highlight the plight of our closest cousins chimpanzees, bonobos, orangutans and gorillas. The app features in depth information on each species along with GRASP partner projects and news. Rich in easy to understand visual content and infographics apeAPP allows the public to follow and donate directly to the projects of GRASP partners that at launch include the African Wildlife Foundation, The Orangutan Conservancy, The Goualougo Triangle Ape Project and the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. New partners and projects will continue to be added. The App was developed using PhoneGap and content is published by GRASP staff through a custom CMS built by I-SITE.
