Whereoware’s Spotlight Sales app increases sales and improves accountability of sales team’s daily activity. With Spotlight, companies showcase products with striking imagery, categories, catalogs, branded product sheets, and wishlists. Reps take orders and review order history from anywhere (no WiFi required). Three improvements - address verification, integration with marketing automation tool Silverpop, and proximity search – empower reps to work the most promising leads first, close sales on the road, and increase operational efficiency.

Spotlight’s address verification feature saves time and money by pre-checking postal addresses via UPS APIs, instantly returning exact matches for correct addresses or suggesting alternative addresses. Since May 2013, address verification saved one of our clients over $50,000 in returned package fees alone.

Integrated with marketing automation tool Silverpop, Spotlight features a cross-device scoring model incorporating leads online behavior (emails opened, webpages visited, etc.) and offline behavior (interactions in meetings). The integration provides reps a 360° view of past engagement, order history, and positioning within the sales cycle. Since January, the Spotlight-Silverpop integration increased one of our client’s close rate by 63.8%.

Spotlight maximizes rep time, by finding nearby leads on the road. Spotlight’s proximity search provides turn-by-turn directions to the closest hottest lead. Reps have effective meetings with these leads because they can review order history, account status, and latest actions beforehand.

Meanwhile, management monitors sales activity in real-time, including customers and territories visited, and products shown by each rep or customer. Managers quickly spot concerns or opportunities and personalize rep training to boost productivity.
