About the Entry

THE BRIEF We were tasked with bringing Ericsson’s networked communications into the digital space, a space it helped create. The result = the E-Diary; an Android application allowing Ericsson to communicate easily and effectively with its global base and manage attendance, data searching and news about events. THE IDEA Conceptualised as an Electronic Diary, the Ericsson E-Diary is the 2013 showpiece for all things Ericsson in South Africa. The E-Diary shifts from the isolated paper applications to a networked infrastructure. HOW IT WORKS The E-Diary Android app keeps users up-to-date, real time, on all Calendar Events and Marketing activities. It consolidates your Ericsson events diary and calendar to synch with your phone, and provides you with relevant info linked to each event. Users can also: Read exciting news & Twitter feeds Read corporate brochures Manage attendance & learn more about speakers Access Ericsson Consumer Lab reports
